The firm
Liz Johnston founded Integra in December 2005 — right as unbundling separated water from land and the market became something you needed to actively manage. The goal was straightforward: give irrigators a broker who would take the time to explain their options, not just execute a trade.
Twenty years later, the team is Liz Johnston, Giannina DeAngelis, and Mitchell McGrath. Liz and Giannina each have over 20 years in water broking. Our first clients are still our clients. That tells you more about how we work than any mission statement.
We are AWBA members, we don't trade our own book, and we don't take the spread. The broker who answers your call is the broker who settles your trade.

Zone-deep knowledge
We work Zone 1A (Greater Goulburn), Zone 6 (Murray Above Choke), and Zone 7 (Murray Below Choke). We know the allocation drivers, the seasonal patterns, and the regulatory shifts in each — because it’s all we do.

Founder
Founded Integra in 2005 after five years as an industry employee. Specialises in Victorian water markets, allocation policy, and complex regulatory changes. AWBA member and former Victorian Government Industry Development Committee participant.
Giannina DeAngelis
Senior Broker
With Integra since 2006. Deep knowledge of Southern Connected Basin storage, weather-driven allocation movements, and inter-zone trade opportunities. Builds long-term client relationships across all three zones.
Mitchell McGrath
Broker
Brings fresh energy and sharp market awareness to the team. Works closely with Liz and Giannina to ensure every client gets responsive, informed service.
